NEW Mix & Match option allows you to create a custom 1/2" shank set with carbide tipped Katana® router bits. Make raised panel doors, table tops, and drawers for fine furniture and custom kitchen cabinetry.
1. The Raised Panel router bit puts a classic edge on the floating central panel in your door. Choose Ogee, Cove or 18˚ Bevel.
2. Our Matched Rail and Stile router bit sets create precisely mated rails and stiles that form the frame of your door. Use with 3/4" to 7/8" stock. Choose Ogee or Round Over.
3. When the central panel needs to be wider than your stock, use the Reverse Glue Joint router bit to mill two or more pieces of stock with reverse cut edge joints to reach the required width. Assemble and glue up the stock, and your panel is ready to be raised. Use with stock up to 1-1/4" thick.
4. Drawer construction is easy with the Katana® Drawer Lock router bit. Create a strong, long lasting joint that fits precisely because one bit makes the cut in the drawer front, as well as the side of the drawer, so both pieces fit together perfectly.

KATANA Kitchen Door and Drawer Set (5/5), Jul 29, 2010

I have had these bits for about a year and still cut just like the way they did when I received new. Upon further review I was inspecting and noticed small nick on carbide tip and called MLCS. They advised me to ship back immediately and replaced it with brand new one and everything was done with in one week. I do not know any other company that warranty's a bit like the Katana bits at MLCS. That's why I buy all my bits from them.

I was very impressed with the Katana bits. I purchased the shaker style with under cutter. I have made a few hickory doors with them. Once I got the router and feed speed set these things perform flawless. I have no tear out or burning on my pieces. If they perform this well on hickory they should be superb on any other material. Thanks MLCS

Create a custom, three piece raised panel/rail & stile 1/2" shank carbide tipped set. Frame and panel construction is the standard and strongest method of door building. The free floating panel contracts and expands to avoid splitting.

At this point I have only used the raised panel bit. It worked really well at 18,000 rpm on my Dewalt table mounted router. I would assume that the other two bits will work with the same results. Very Satisified...
